Scallop Seizure

 Oct 17, 2018 · NEW BEDFORD — A scallop vessel that landed in New Bedford on Oct. 10 had its catch seized and the boat's captain arrested, according to Massachusetts Environmental Police.

These are immature or juvenile scallops, known as bug or seed scallops that are illegal for harvest.
