Passed off as a Pez

 

• In October 2020, police in Emporium, Pennsylvania, found pills coated with benzodiazepines that were made to look like Pez.
• In 2021, Barrow County, Georgia, investigators warned the public about narcotics that were disguised to look like Pez candies.
• In 2021, the McKinney Police in Texas reported seizing Ecstasy tablets made to look like Pez candies.
• In 2020, a Mississippi sheriff warned parents that a synthetic form of Xanax was being produced to resemble Pez. 

Oct 21, 2022 — A new documentary, "The Pez Outlaw," chronicles the story of Glew, a man from a small town in Michigan who made millions of dollars smuggling rare PEZ candy.

PEZ began in Vienna as a mint meant to help people quit smoking.
