Tapioca and Cornstarch: The new Bonnie and Clyde

Tapioca has been used to conceal illegal narcotics during transport.

• Luxembourg (2025): The country's customs agency seized 508 kg of cocaine that was hidden inside a tapioca shipment from Brazil.  The drug smugglers attempted to conceal the cocaine in 3.6 tons of cornstarch to avoid detection.
