Brisket burglars

 Texas barbecue restaurants often get victimized by brisket burglars. In August 2024 New Braunfels' Granzin Bar-B-Q reported $1,500 in brisket was swiped from their storage. Two years before that, the famous la Barbecue in Austin reported $3,000 worth of brisket was gone.

BUDA, Texas — A 51-year-old Baytown man faces theft charges after allegedly stealing more than $1,700 worth of brisket from multiple Central Texas grocery stores during a weekend crime spree, police said.
