Warning to women: 86 the instant noodles

Eating instant noodles 2–3 times per week has been linked to a higher risk of heart disease, stroke, and diabetes, according to The Journal of Nutrition. Researchers found that instant noodles are often high in sodium, unhealthy fats, and refined carbs. These ingredients can raise blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure.

Researchers at Harvard University reported a 68% higher risk of metabolic syndrome among women who consume instant noodles ≥ twice/week but not in men.
