Dicey rice
Arborio rice is often subject to contamination; one recent supply contained bits of glass, leading to 149,000 units recalled. I n July 2022, Factor, a meal kit delivery service, issued a voluntary recall of some of their meals containing arborio rice due to the potential presence of glass fragments . This recall was initiated by the supplier of the rice who found glass fragments in the arborio rice ingredients.
