Roman Emperor's strictly fig-diet still leads to mysterious death

In Robert Graves' classic book, 

I, Claudius, Emperor Augustus believes his 

wife, Livia, is trying to poison him, 

and chooses a diet of only personally 

hand picked #figs from a palace tree.

Ironically, Livia has poisoned each and 

every fruit on the tree to ensure his death.
